The Successes

In no small measure, the Muskingum Growth Partnership has provided private sector support that has helped make the area’s development achievements possible.  Here are just a few examples of accomplishments that MGP has participated in over the years: 

·     Attraction of new businesses such as Dollar General, AutoZone and All American Homes

·     Development of East Pointe Park.

·     Expansions at more than 20 major local employers

·     Construction of an industrial spec building on East Pike, currently occupied by Cardinal Health.

·     Creation of a thriving small business incubator

·     Development of North Pointe Drive and North Pointe Park

·     Promotion of local buying and appreciation for the contributions of existing companies through programs like the annual ACES Awards

·     Publication of a wage survey, a financing guide, and a development year in review

·     Completion of a development master plan for Downtown Zanesville, including the proposed Potter’s Alley development

As you can see, MGP members have made a direct and positive impact over the last ten years in a wide variety of ways. The result is a community that is moving forward and growing.
